A simple bust commission crops the character around the neck/shoulder area depending on the individual character.
Simple bust sketches come with a plain white background, and usually colored lines.

A simple half-body sketch crops the character around the waist/hips depending on the individual character.

A character reference sheet includes a full body character in multiple outfits, as well as a description of the character, personality traits, and a simple background.
